In the wake of my stage 4 cancer diagnosis and the mental health challenges that accompanied it, I turned to a personal passion that has helped me cope: songwriting. In music I find inspiration and reassurance, which I hope to share with others facing cancer.

 

This aspiration speaks to the mission behind “Ken Wells The War Fund”: The fund’s mission is to help others navigate their cancer journeys through financial assistance for medical treatment and mental well-being, from counseling to emotional outlets most meaningful to them.

 

The universal language of music is a key to my fundraising efforts, designed to help and support others dealing with cancer and mental health challenges. But I need your help, as does everyone facing cancer.
